AUGUSTA — Parents’ Rights in Education empowers parents and allies to advocate for their children. Their local affiliates uphold parents’ fundamental rights in primary and secondary education.
On Tuesday, April 1, PRE Maine will host a special panel of experts and advocates to launch their action-based platform for Augusta parents. Led by the Hon. Anticipated panel guest Amber Lavigne believes that many of the debated issues in school districts are “parents’ rights issues.” Our other panelists, 17-year educator Rebecca Brooks and Dr. Tom Moyer, agree. Our panels’ inspiring personal testimonies and professional expertise, combined with our action-based platform, will create an invaluable experience that parents and stakeholders will leave energized to create meaningful change.
