A Portland man has been arrested for molesting a young girl in Florida.
David W. Kirkland, 53, faces charges of lewd or lascivious behavior-molestation with a victim minor under 12 years of age and being a fugitive from justice, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
He allegedly molested the girl in Marion County.
A warrant was issued for his arrest on Feb. 17.
He was safely apprehended in Portland, the Marshals Service said Thursday.
