A Stoneham woman led police on a chase Wednesday morning that ended in her driveway.
Sydney Whiteland, 34, has been charged with criminal speeding and eluding an officer, according to the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office.
Whiteland was driving a red 2020 Jeep Cherokee in a “reckless and unsafe manner” on Route 5 in Lovell, near New Suncook School, about 7:50 a.m., the sheriff’s office said.
A deputy posted in the area tried to stop Whiteland, who allegedly refused to stop and fled north on Route 5.
Police chased Whiteland for 11 miles until she pulled into the driveway of her Stoneham home, where she was quickly arrested, the sheriff’s office said.
She was taken to the Oxford County Jail in South Paris.
No additional information was immediately released.
