Ben Stiller scored major dad points for surprising his daughter, Ella, with a call from her favorite pop star.
“I went to a Knicks game with Taylor [Swift]. She was there,” Stiller, 59, shared on the Wednesday, March 19, episode of Travis and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast. “This was, like, 10 years ago, and I was there with my son, [Quinlin].”
While Ella wasn’t with her dad and brother at the sporting event, Stiller didn’t want her to miss out on the chance to meet Swift, now 35. “We literally FaceTimed my daughter, who’s a major Swiftie,” she recalled. “She’s [22] now. And we had the best time.”
Stiller went on to call Swift “incredible,” and Travis, also 35, quickly agreed. “I appreciate that. I think the same thing,” the athlete, who has been dating Swift since 2023, gushed. “Maybe we can get Taylor to another Knicks game.”

Stiller was down with the idea, telling Travis that he should join them as well. “I can hook that up,” the actor said before joking, “I’m sure you would need help getting a ticket.”
Jason, 37, quipped, “I need help,” prompting laughter from both his brother and Stiller.
Swift and her pal Karlie Kloss sat alongside Stiller and his son at an October 2014 Knicks game against the Chicago Bulls at Madison Square Garden. Stiller snapped a photo of Swift as she wrapped her arms around Quinlin and Kloss.
Stiller shares Ella and Quinlin, 19, with his wife, Christine Taylor. The couple, who wed in 2000, called it quits after 17 years of marriage in 2017 but later reconnected during the coronavirus pandemic.

Ella has often shown her Swiftie status via social media, previously sharing Instagram pics and clips from her night out at the Eras Tour in May 2023. “IT’S YOU AND ME THAT’S MY WHOLE WORLD,” she wrote alongside snaps from the concert. “ITS BEEN A LOOONG TIME COMIN

Ella channeled Swift’s Lover era for the show, wearing a T-shirt of the album’s cover. She copied Swift’s look by spraying the ends of her hair blue and pink and sporting a pink glitter heart around her eye.
Ella even quoted Swift’s “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me” lyrics while celebrating her Juilliard graduation. “YOU WOULDN’T LAST AN HOUR IN THE ASYLUM (@juilliardschool) WHERE THEY RAISED ME (No, like, really),” she captioned her May 2024 Instagram post. “Yesterday I got my BFA in Acting from Juilliard. I couldn’t be happier to be done or prouder to have survived or more grateful to my family for the unwavering support that got me there and through. I have a degree in playing pretend!!! Yay!!!”
Swift, meanwhile, has been enjoying some deserved time off with Travis following the end of the Eras Tour in December 2024 and the 2025 Super Bowl.
“Taylor and Travis are taking it easy right now. They’ve been laying low in Kansas City,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month. A second insider added, “They’ve been traveling, spending precious time together and letting the rest of the world go for a bit.”
