A residential trailer in Winterport is a total loss after a Tuesday morning fire, Winterport Fire Department Assistant Chief Ben Verrill said,
Winterport Fire Department received a call at around 8:11 a.m. for a fire at 1492 North Main St. Fire departments in Hampden, Monroe, Frankfort and West Frankfort provided mutual aid to Winterport Fire & Rescue.
No one was home at the time of the fire. The residents of the property are yet to be identified.
The cause of the fire is unknown, Verrill said. The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
