Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour may be over, but fans can still hold onto the memories.

Swift, 35, celebrated the two-year anniversary of the tour’s kickoff by sharing an exclusive performance from opening night at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday, March 17, from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

“This is amazing, hi, thank you so much to iHeart and thank you mainly to the fans,” Swift, 35, said in a video that played during the ceremony as she accepted the award for Tour of the Century. “I really can’t tell you how much this means to me because I accept this on behalf of all my tourmates, my band, everyone who toured with us, our crew. This is actually the two-year anniversary of the first show of the Eras Tour and i’ve been doing a lot of processing since i’ve been off the road these last few months and, you know, people often say that sometimes the greatest challenges in life end up being something that you are so proud of or end up being the most gratifying feeling in the end if you can rise to the occasion. And this tour was absolutely the most challenging thing i’ve ever done in my life.”

She continued, “It’s a three and a half hour show, more shows than I’ve ever done on a tour and it really was the most gratifying thing I’ve ever done. I think about that tour constantly. I’m so proud of it. And the only reason I was able to take on those challenges, among others, the ambition of the production, the length of the show, the amount of shows in all the different countries we played in, that’s all because of the fans.”

Swift ended her speech by thanking the Swifties, telling them, “You made these songs for he last couple decades into what they became so we could do a three and a half hour setlist. You had the passion and the generosity to care about traveling to see us in tour in all these places all over the world. It blows my mind. I’m never gonna stop being grateful for it. And i appreciate it more than you know.”

She then introduced an exclusive video from the Surprise Song section of her concert, where she performed her song “Mirrorball” from Folklore, telling the crowd she chose the song because “I love you” and “I need your attention always.”

In addition to the Eras Tour being recognized as Tour of the Century. Swift is also nominated for 10 awards: Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Lyrics and Best Music Video for “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone, Favorite Surprise Guest for Travis Kelce’s tour cameo in London, Favorite Tour Tradition for the “22” hat and surprise songs, Favorite Tour Style and Favorite On Screen for her Eras Tour film.

Swift kicked off the Eras Tour in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023. She proceeded to perform a total of 149 concerts across North America, South America, Asia, Australia and Europe before wrapping the tour in Canada in December 2024.

The Most Viral Moments From Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ So Far

When the Eras Tour debuted, the setlist featured a whopping 44 songs, including two surprise songs each night from Swift’s expansive discography. Following the release of The Tortured Poets Department in April 2024, she switched up the setlist the following month, cutting some tracks to make room for seven songs from her latest album.

Swift commemorated the tour with her concert film and her retrospective book, which came out in October 2023 and November 2024, respectively.

During her penultimate Eras Tour show in Vancouver, Swift reflected on the impact of the venture, telling fans, “This is the most fun, joyful, exciting, intense, powerful and wonderful tour I have ever done, and that’s all because of the way that you have treated it.”

She added, “There’s a reason why this is my longest tour I’ve ever done. I’ve never played this many shows on a tour before, and it’s just ’cause I really never wanted it to end because you guys have made it into such a wonderful experience for all of us on stage.”

Swift then pointed to the unity among her fans when referencing the friendship bracelet trend spawned by the tour.

“You’ve got all your traditions that you’ve created. Like, I wrote one line in a song that mentions ‘make the friendship bracelets,’ and I show up to the first show of the Eras Tour, and you guys made friendship bracelets, you’re trading friendship bracelets, you’re making friends, and now, I feel like, friendship bracelets, you’ve kinda made that idea synonymous with the Eras Tour,” she gushed. “That’s a pretty wild thing you can do — and that’s just one of the things.”

The following night, Swift had more kind words for her fans as she marked the final concert of the tour.

“Making friends and bringing joy to each other, that is I think the lasting legacy of this tour, is the fact that you have created such a space of joy and togetherness and love,” she told the audience. “I couldn’t be more proud of you, honestly that is all you. That is what people think about when they think about this tour, is how they felt out in the crowd with you. I just want to say that, you’re why this is so special. And you supporting me for as long as you have is why I get to take these lovely walks down memory lane every single night because you cared about every era of my entire life that I’ve been making music, so thank you.”
