The fall in valuation, led to a boost in intraday trading volume, which shot up 7% to $72.6 billion. The reddish numbers called for the Fear & Greed Index bowing down to a bearish score of 25.

Bitcoin has maintained its footing above $82,000, showing its attempt to remain resilient in a fearful market. Despite shedding 0.26% in the past 24 hours, BTC continues to dominate, holding a lion’s share in the market trends, with its valuation standing at $1.73 trillion.

Ethereum Inches Higher as Altcoins Tumble
Ethereum at press time has posted a rather modest uptick of 0.83%, changing hands at $1,899.90. While ETH saw a minor spike, several major altcoins went south. XRP saw a sharper decline of 2.59%, and Solana dipped 2.70%, continuing its recent downtrend.

Top Gainers & Losers
Among today’s standout performers, PancakeSwap stole the spotlight with a nearly 20% surge. TRON followed with a 5.17% gain, and OKB rounded out the top three, rising 4.63%.
On the losing side, PI suffered a sharp 15.62% drop, while BERA slipped 12.09%. Sonic also found itself in the red, falling 5.58%.
