Kanye West had some choice words to share amid his conflict with ex-wife Kim Kardashian over his new song featuring their daughter North West and Sean “Diddy” Combs.

“THE MAN MAKES THE FINAL DECISION,” West, 47, tweeted on Monday, March 17, seemingly in reaction to Kardashian, 44, attempting to stop the release of his new track “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine.”

West uploaded the song via X on Saturday, March 15. “LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE new song by PUFF DADDY feat. His son KING COMBS my daughter NORTH WEST and new Yeezy artist from Chicago Jasmine Williams,” he captioned the since-deleted post.

West and Kardashian agreed to the joint custody of their children — North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5 — upon settling their divorce in November 2022. On Saturday, TMZ reported that Kardashian sent cease and desist letters to prevent her ex-husband from releasing the song as North’s name is trademarked.

“I asked u at the time if I can trademark her name. You said yes. When she’s 18 it goes to her. So stop,” Kardashian wrote in alleged texts shared via West via X, which have since been deleted. “I sent paper work over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song to protect her.” (Diddy, 55, has remained behind bars since September 2024 after he was indicted on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, which he has denied.)

Kardashian’s alleged texts continued, “One person has to trademark! We agreed when they were born i would get all of our kids names and trademarks so no one else would take them.”

In response, West texted back, “Amend it or I’m going to war and neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You’re going to have to kill me.”

That same day, West went on to criticize Kardashian and their coparenting relationship in a series of since-deleted X posts shared within the span of six minutes. “Yes I have beef with people that froze my account took my kids away and tried to put me in jail AND ITS STUCK,” he wrote on Saturday.

In another tweet, he added, “I DONT WANT TO JUST ‘SEE’ MY KIDS. I NEED TO RAISE THEM.I NEED TO HAVE SAY SO OF WEAR THEY GO TO SCHOOL AND WHO THEIR FRIENDS ARE AND WHOS HOUSES THEY SLEEP OVER WEATHER MY DAUGHTERS WEAR LIPSTICK AND PERFUME ALL THESE RIGHTS HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM ME BY THE KARDASHIAN MOB HULU AND DISNEY AND THE BIGGER AGENDA TO USE THE SELECTIVELY BRED BLACK CHILDREN TO BE PLATFORMS TO INFLUENCE BLACK PEOPLE.”

He also compared his time with his kids to being like a “visitation” in another tweet, in which he also made antisemitic comments. “ITS LIKE IM IN PRISON ‘SEEING’ MY KIDS I DONT CARE IF I LIVE OR DIE OR IF IM IN JAIL OR FREE,” he wrote. (Us Weekly reached out to West and Kardashian’s reps for comment.)

What Kim Kardashian Has Said About Kanye West Since Their Divorce

West’s latest drama comes one month after he spurred further outrage for releasing a Yeezy T-shirt featuring a swastika on it and promoting the garment in an ad aired during Super Bowl LIX. Shopify subsequently pulled West’s online storefront for violating the company’s terms of service.

West also had his X account deactivated last month after sharing a series of antisemitic tweets, in which allegedly praised Hitler and claimed he had “dominion” over his wife, Bianca Censori. In the wake of the controversy, West was dropped by his talent agent, Daniel McCartney. “Effective immediately, I’m no longer representing YE (F/K/A Kanye West) due to his harmful and hateful remarks that myself nor 33 & West can stand for,” he wrote via his Instagram Story on February 10. “Peace and love to all.”

TMZ later reported that West was being sued by a former Yeezy employee who claimed they were fired for complaining about antisemitism. The anonymous employee’s lawsuit features alleged text screenshots of West calling himself “Hitler” and threatening to go “death con 2 [sic] on JEWISH PEOPLE.” (Us reached out to West’s rep for comment at the time.)
