
A Hampden man allegedly brandished a gun during a “road rage” incident on Sunday.
Dakota Miles, 27, was charged with criminal threatening, violation of his conditions of release and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, according to the Brewer Police Department.
The incident began on Interstate 95 in Bangor and ended on South Main Street in Brewer. During the incident, Miles allegedly brandished a gun, Brewer police said Wednesday morning.
Miles was out on bail for a domestic violence offense and the defendant in a protection order from a former partner, according to police.
A Maine State Police tactical team executed a search warrant at Miles’ apartment in Hampden, where officers seized several weapons.
Miles was booked at the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor on Tuesday evening, and he remained there Wednesday morning, according to the jail’s website.
No additional information was immediately released about the road rage incident.
