THOMASTON – Watts Hall Community Arts invites you to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with an evening of lively Irish folk music featuring The Napper Tandies on Saturday, March 15 at 7 p.m. at Watts Hall, 174 Main Street.

For nearly 20 years, The Napper Tandies have been thrilling audiences with their energetic take on Irish classics. Featuring piano accordion, banjo, bouzouki, and upright bass, the group brings their signature sound to beloved songs such as “Whiskey in the Jar” and “The Leaving of Liverpool”, drawing inspiration from legends like The Dubliners, The Clancy Brothers, and The Pogues. Their performances are known for their infectious energy, rich harmonies, and the kind of music that gets feet tapping and voices singing along.

The trio — Chris Brinn, Matt Smith, and Randy Billings — formed in 2000 after meeting in a brewery and discovering their shared love of Irish folk music. Named after the founder of the United Irishmen, The Napper Tandies have been performing together ever since, creating unforgettable nights filled with music, camaraderie, and celebration.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and all ages are welcome at this family-friendly event. A cash bar featuring beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available, provided by The Block Saloon. Concessions will also be available for purchase.

Tickets are $20 in advance, and $25 the day of the show. For more information and to purchase advance tickets, visit wattshallthomaston.com.

Watts Hall Community Arts is dedicated to fostering creativity and community through the arts. Located in the heart of Thomaston, Maine, Watts Hall serves as a cultural hub, offering a variety of programs and events for people of all ages.
