An eagle-eyed fan spotted a surprising Taylor Swift connection while watching the 2025 Oscars.

Taking to X during the early portion of Sunday, March 2’s broadcast of the awards ceremony, the fan posted a screenshot of two of Swift’s Eras Tour dancers doing their thing at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre.

“Oh my! Just noticed, two of #taylorswift #erastour dancers are working at the #oscars,” the fan captioned the screenshot, which depicted Sam Mcwilliams and Jan Ravnik, two regular Eras Tour dancers for Swift, 35, who worked on the show from March 2023 to December 2024.

Mcwilliams, 21, and Ravnik, 29, also posted about the Oscars via their own social media accounts — Ravnik shared an ABC promotional video for the Oscars via his Instagram Stories five hours ahead of the event, while Mcwilliams posted an Instagram Story that teased the Oscars one day prior as well as a photo in front of Dolby Theatre four hours prior to the show commencing.

Taylor Swift’s Dancers React After Travis Kelce Hits ‘Eras Tour’ Stage

The Oscars screenshot showed the pair dressed in gold turbans and slick black tuxedos as they helped Wicked‘s Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo perform an Oz-themed medley that received a standing ovation.

As for Swift, the singer is currently spending quality down-time with boyfriend, Travis Kelce, according to a source who spoke exclusively to Us Weekly last month. “There’s no way to have a relationship when they’re all over the place with work,” the insider detailed on February 18, just one week after the Super Bowl (Kelce, 35, serves as tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs who were defeated by the Philadelphia Eagles, 40-22, at the Super Bowl.). “It’s going to be easier now to find time to go over plans and make sure everything aligns.”

While both Mcwilliams and Ravnik became fan favorites by the end of the Eras Tour, Ravnik’s charismatic stage presence won him a huge fan base in particular. His popularity swelled when he caught fans’ eyes in the Eras Tour movie, which hit theaters in October 2023.

When the Eras Tour kicked off its European leg in Paris, Ravnik starred in an all-new dance duet with Swift for “Fortnight,” much to fans’ delight. “Jan stepping in for Post Malone during the ‘Fortnight’ set!” one fan gushed via X in May 2024. “It was all simply so incredible 😍🤍.”

Ravnik gushed about his time spent on the Eras Tour via Instagram on Swift’s 35th birthday, December 13, 2024. “We’ve created memories, we’ve shared laughs and tears along the way. I am not same person I was 2 years ago and I can easily say these were the best years of my life,” he wrote at the time.

Mcwilliams shared a similar sentiment via his own Instagram account. “If you would’ve told 19 year old me that I was gonna be going on a tour let alone a WORLD tour I would’ve s— my pants,” he wrote on December 25, 2024. “It has always been my dream to go on tour and travel the world, but I never thought that it would happen at 19… thank you to everyone that helped guide me through these crazy amazing two years. what a dream it was.”
