Expect a mild warmup and several chances for precipitation as we end out the last week of February.
Monday will start with lots of sun before clouds will increase in the afternoon, but it will remain dry.
Highs are on the gradual increase this week, with highs in the upper 30s on Monday.
By nighttime, some light snow and rain will fall across the north. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy with lows into the upper 20s and mid-30s.

Tuesday will start as overcast with highs increasing to the mid-40s.
At this time, models are pointing toward rain showers inland and near the coast in the second half of the day, with snow in the mountains.
Skies will clear by Wednesday, as highs hang out in the mid-40s again.
Highs will remain in the mid-40s for much of the week.
Our next steadier round of precipitation will be Thursday. It looks like it will start as a mix in the south before turning to rain as temps increase to the low 40s. Across the north, precipitation will start out as a snowy mix before changing over to rain. All precipitation will wrap up after dinnertime.

Rain will add up through Thursday statewide.
Rain amounts vary from 0.15 inches to almost a half inch in Bangor.
At this time, snow from Thursday’s system will primarily reside inland.
Another round of both rain and snow, as well as colder temps near and below freezing, is expected next weekend.
