Miles Teller is still mourning after losing his home in the Los Angeles wildfires last month.
“You’re grieving a lot of things. You’re grieving memories that were lost,” Teller, 37, shared on the Thursday, February 13, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “You’re grieving the life that my wife, [Keleigh Teller], and I anticipated us having, with hopefully having our first children in that house.”
Miles went on to state that what he really mourns is the “sense of home,” revealing that he and Keleigh, 32, had just finished renovating their “dream house.” He added, “I know that’s gonna take a while to recalibrate because we just don’t have a place we can go to that just feels like us and our things and our kind of comfort. But, you know, we’ll figure it out.”
Miles and Keleigh are among the thousands of people, including many celebrities, who were affected by the Los Angeles wildfires that started early last month and have since been contained.

Keleigh revealed the loss of their home via Instagram on January 10, sharing a photo of a cloud of smoke circling behind their property. “To everyone reaching out I can’t thank you enough, your kind hearts have meant the world, I’ll never forget them,” she wrote at the time. “Community has come out stronger than I could imagine, pacific palisades I love you beyond measure you are a little slice of heaven, we will come back stronger than ever.”
She continued: “I wish I grabbed my wedding dress … wish I did a lot different but it doesn’t matter, stay safe, get out. 
there are no words. THANK YOU to the first responders fighting.”
On Thursday’s WWHL, host Andy Cohen offered his “heartfelt” condolences to Miles, who replied that he’s been “doing alright” over the past month. “It really is, kind of, a day-by-day thing,” he said. “You’re a part of a club that nobody really expects or wants to be a part of, where you lose everything in a natural disaster.”
He went on to thank fans of the band the Grateful Dead, a.k.a. Deadheads, who have offered Miles their support and sent him merch such as T-shirts and pins. “It’s been really wonderful feeling the love from our family and friends, and you really see who gives a s— or who doesn’t when something like this happens,” he added.

While Keleigh was unable to save her wedding dress before the couple had to evacuate their home, Miles revealed that he was able to grab his late grandfather’s watch before leaving. He wore the heirloom during a February 4 appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, explaining that his grandfather “just passed away a couple weeks before” the fires broke out.
