Tamra Judge has a message for fans following Teddi Mellencamp’s recent brain tumor diagnosis.
“Before we begin, maybe some of you have seen Teddi’s Instagram Stories. If not, I just want our listeners to know that she will be taking a brief sabbatical to deal with some health stuff,” Judge, 57, tearfully said on the Wednesday, February 12, episode of their joint “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast. “I’ll allow Teddi to tell her story when she’s back, but you all know how much she loves this podcast and wants nothing more than for us to continue on recording while she focuses on her health.”
Judge continued, “We want to thank you for your continued love and support.”
Judge cohosted Wednesday’s episode, a recap of the latest The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, with Traitors season 2 winner Trishelle Cannatella.
Teddi Mellencamp Has Multiple Brain Tumors, Will Undergo Surgery
“I mean, it’s been a tough night, I’m not gonna lie,” Judge added. “Thank you so much for stepping in.”
Cannatella, 45, then hoped Mellencamp, 43, “is getting well soon” and sent “lots of prayers.”
Mellencamp underwent brain surgery on Wednesday, which she mentioned in a prerecorded intro for the podcast episode.
“Welcome to another episode of ‘Two Ts in a Pod.’ I am fine. I have been having, as you guys have heard if you listen to the pod, a headache for over two weeks,” Mellencamp explained. “I ended up going into the hospital yesterday because my headache was so bad.”
She continued, “Right after I filmed the pod, they found that I have two brain tumors that need to be removed, which are getting done today. … Then, I have three more smaller tumors that will most likely need to be removed with radiation.”

During Mellencamp’s procedure, she was joined by estranged husband Edwin Arroyave — the Bravo alum filed for divorce in November 2024 — and their three children. Friends like Kyle Richards were also present as Mellencamp was taken into the operating room.
“I feel really grateful that I’ve been able to have a conversation with my kids about this [and] that I’m in the hospital with Edwin and my friends,” she said on the podcast. “I’m feeling ready and positive for surgery. Stay tuned.”
Mellencamp, who had her hair buzzed off ahead of the procedure, has yet to share a further health update.
Arroyave, 47, also shared photos with 4-year-old daughter Dove in the hospital while awaiting Mellencamp’s surgery.
“Thank you for all the prayers and love for @teddimellencamp,” he wrote via Instagram Story on Wednesday.
In addition to Dove, Mellencamp and Arroyave share daughter Slate, 12, and son Cruz, 10. Arroyave also is the father to eldest daughter Isabella from a past relationship.
