Stars are coming to Taylor Swift’s defense after she was booed by the crowd during Super Bowl LIX.

The 35-year-old singer was shown on the Jumbotron at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9 as the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Philadelphia Eagles. The crowd could be heard eliciting boos, which immediately confused Swift. She turned to friend Ice Spice and could be seen asking the rapper, “What’s going on?”

Swift attended Sunday’s Big Game to support boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Chiefs as they tried to become the first NFL team in history to win three consecutive Super Bowls. Along with Ice Spice, she was joined by the Haim sisters, Ashley Avignone, parents Andrea and Scott Swift and brother Austin Swift.

After she was shown on the big screen, several reporters took to social media and were quick to clarify that, yes, the boos were aimed toward Swift. (Her appearance came after Adam Sandler and Paul Rudd received welcomed cheers. President Donald Trump was also met with cheers and boos when he entered the stadium, per Reuters.)

“Taylor Swift confused by the boos,” Complex Sports shared via X on Sunday. ESPN’s Sports Center also shared a clip of the moment, writing, “Taylor Swift laughed off being booed at the Super Bowl.”

“I love you @taylorswift13,” the athlete shared via X on Sunday. “Don’t listen to those booos!!”

Williams shared Instagram Story posts from The Big Game showing that she heard the boos loud and clear. She also surprised fans by dancing during Kendrick Lamar’s Halftime Show.

Taylor Hale

The Big Brother alum was also quick to share her support for Swift on X.

“Predominantly male audience boos a woman beloved by many women,” she wrote. “Men are such losers for this.”

Kelsey Anderson

The Bachelor alum was also in attendance at the Super Bowl on Sunday and made it clear to TikTok followers that she did not take part in any Swift slander — like others in the crowd.

After securing a ticket to Super Bowl LIX, Dunne — who is dating NFL player Braxton Berrios — wanted to make it clear that she had no part in booing Swift.

“Taylor Swift just got booed … someone needs to tell her I wasn’t part of it ASAP,” she wrote via TikTok on Monday, February 10. “Don’t do my fellow WAG like that #ForYou #SuperBowl #Football.”
