BANGOR — Tony C. McKim, president and CEO of First National Bank and its parent company, The First Bancorp, recently announced the appointment of Christopher J. Austin. “I am pleased to welcome Chris to First National Bank. His wealth of experience and breadth of knowledge will greatly enrich our leadership team.” commented McKim.

Austin has been appointed as executive vice president, chief legal counsel, based in Bangor. Austin joins the bank after a 26-year career as an attorney at Rudman Winchell where he specialized in real estate, commercial lending, and corporate law. 

A Maine native, he holds a bachelor of arts from Boston College and a juris doctor from University of Maine School of Law. Austin resides in Hampden.
