Kim Kardashian is not a regular mom — she’s a cool mom.
Kardashian took her eldest daughter North West out to dinner at Nobu over the weekend, and inside the restaurant, the pair snapped photos of themselves sporting bold fur outerwear.
Kardashian, 44, uploaded the photographic evidence to Instagram on Monday, January 27, leaving the caption blank and letting the pictures do all the talking. During the outing, she wore a luxe fur coat and carried a Louis Vuitton bag while North, 11, showed off a giant fur hat while keeping the rest of her outfit — a T-shirt and baggy pants — otherwise low-key.
The reality star and Skims founder opted for soft makeup, and North took an edgier approach with striking blue mascara.

Kardashian shares North as well as Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5, with ex Kanye West. On Sunday, January 26, she took to Instagram Stories to share videos and photos from Chicago’s recent cowboy-themed birthday party, staged a little over one week after her actual birthday on January 15.
Kardashian’s social-media dump revealed a lavish pink cake that resembled a cowboy boot as well as Chicago’s all-white outfit, which included a hat, fringed chaps and a fringed shirt with the little girl’s name bedazzled in the back.
Over the years, Kardashian has regularly gone all out for her kids’ birthday celebrations — and it all started with North. She’s feted her first-born with a variety of over-the-top parties, ranging in themes from Coachella to Moana.
North celebrated her 11th birthday in June 2024 with family and friends at an indoor amusement park inside of the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The festivities included an indoor rollercoaster, ski slopes, a wave pool and a three-tiered sparkly pink birthday cake.

Kardashian and her eldest have a fun-loving dynamic. For Kardashian’s 44th last October, North gifted her bemused mom a gold-and-diamond necklace with an engraving that read “Skibidi Toilet” and “Love, North.” At the time, North explained to Kardashian that she chose the unique inscription because she “loves” Alexey Gerasimov’s YouTube series, Skibidi Toilet, which for the uninitiated, follows a fictional war between human toilets and robots.

“Yes!” North confirmed.
