
PORTLAND —The MEMIC Group, a leading super-regional workers’ compensation insurance company, has promoted Kaila McCracken to vice president of business intelligence and analysis.
In her new role, McCracken will lead a team tasked with delivering comprehensive business intelligence and analytics to MEMIC’s CFO, senior leadership team, and board of directors. Additionally, she will oversee the prioritization and implementation of crucial technology solutions across the business.
“Kaila was the natural choice to lead this new body of work for The MEMIC Group as she recognizes the importance of business intelligence and analysis to our future growth and the correlation to The Group’s strategy,” said Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer Eileen Fongemie.
Since joining MEMIC in 2017, McCracken has demonstrated exceptional leadership and analytical capabilities. She earned an advanced certificate in accounting from the University of Southern Maine and is currently pursuing studies through the Maine Development Foundation’s Institute for Civic Leadership. McCracken also holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Southern Maine.

In addition to her role, McCracken serves on the Finance and Investment Committee of the American Association of State Compensation Funds and chairs the United Way Campaign Committee at MEMIC.
McCracken resides in Portland and enjoys activities such as reading, traveling, and hiking.
