Tommy Lee has something to say to his fellow musicians.

The Mötley Crüe drummer shared a missive via Instagram on Tuesday, January 14, taking aim at artists promoting their work on social media amid the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires. Thousands of people have lost their homes and been displaced due to fires affecting areas of L.A. since January 7.

“Makes me f—ing sick to see most people just caring on a posting on lame ass social media!” Lee, 62, shared. “Guys right now nobody gives a flying f–k when your record drops or the next concert is when so many people are in the middle of one of the biggest disasters of all time!”

“I get that some comic relief is always [needed] but Jesus Christ, leave it all alone and maybe just stop and see who needs help if you can,” he added, though he didn’t name any specific artists.

Lee isn’t the only star to call out celebrities over their social media activity over the last week.

On Tuesday, Kelly Osbourne called out celebrities she thinks are using the wildfires for personal attention.

While Osbourne, 40, didn’t name names, she slammed the “disturbing” trend of stars continuing to post about how they are helping victims of the wildfires that have so far killed 25 people.

“Is it just me being my normal overthinking, cynical self or is it really disturbing to see all of these celebrities using other people’s pain and suffering as a photo op to say, look, ‘I’m helping, I’m doing this, I’m doing that?’” she asked in a video posted via TikTok.

“I don’t believe you help because you get attention for helping, I believe you just help because you want to. I’m so confused, I think it’s so wrong,” she continued. “No one asked you to come out and give hugs, go home.”

Osbourne’s comments come as celebrities around the world are donating their time and money to wildfire relief efforts. Many have done so publicly, sharing photos and videos of themselves volunteering.

A host of celebrities, including Beyoncé, Paris Hilton, Jamie Lee Curtis and Eva Longoria have donated money to organizations supporting wildfire relief. As of Wednesday, January 15, fires in the Palisades and Eaton areas of L.A. have damaged or destroyed more than 12,300 structures, according to CNN. That includes the homes of many celebrities, including Hilton, Mel Gibson, Anna Faris and Billy Crystal.
