Timothée Chalamet revealed he was fined $79 after riding an electric bike to the London premiere of his new film, A Complete Unknown.
The Oscar nominee, 29, was pictured posing in a dapper navy suit on the back of a green-and-white Lime bike while attending the Tuesday, January 14, premiere at BFI Southbank. Appearing on the French talk show Quotidien on Wednesday, January 15, Chalamet said he opted for the mode of transport because of a traffic jam that threatened to derail his appearance.
However, his highly relatable moment didn’t come without risk. The actor revealed that he was fined £65 — roughly $79 — for failing to park the bike properly.
“There was a traffic jam and I actually wasn’t allowed to park there, and I got a £65 fine,” Chalamet said Wednesday, per a clip posted via X.

He quipped, “And actually it’s horrible because it was an advert for them,” referring to Lime, which operates electric bikes in the British capital at a subsidized rate to allow people to get around the city.
Following his talk show appearance on Wednesday, the Wonka star enjoyed a cute Paris date night with his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, 27.
The couple were spotted hand-in-hand during a date night in the City of Love, per photos published by Page Six.
According to the outlet, cameras caught Jenner, 27, and Chalamet, 29, stepping into Hotel Royal Monceau following dinner at an upscale restaurant. Jenner looked très chic in a black jumpsuit with a halter neckline while her beau sported dark jeans, a white shirt, and a multi-colored houndstooth coat and hat.

Earlier this month, Jenner attended the Golden Globe Awards in support of Chalamet, who was nominated for a Best Actor award for his role as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. The twosome stole a kiss during the ceremony, where they sat next to each other at a table with Chalamet’s costar Elle Fanning and Elle’s sister, Dakota Fanning.
Jenner posed for photos with the Fannings and also whipped out a camera and snapped a pic of Chalamet on his big night. Later, Jenner and Chalamet were seen posing for photos in the Beverly Hilton with stars including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and mingling with other guests.
Jenner and Chalamet were first linked in April 2023 and also attended last year’s Golden Globes.
