OXFORD — As part of its holiday “Helping Hands” donations to local nonprofits making a real difference in our communities, representatives from Norway Savings Bank visited The Progress Center, headquartered on 5 Fore Street in Oxford, to deliver a surprise $1,500 check to the organization in recognition of its incredible work and impact.
For 44 years, The Progress Center has served hundreds of adults and children through a wide variety of carefully individualized residential, community supports and case management services to help intellectually and/or developmentally disabled individuals maintain and improve their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. The organization’s mission is to inspire hope, independence, and lasting change within the community through building a healthy environment in which all individuals may thrive. The Progress Center empowers individuals to make lasting changes in their own lives and communities by providing the range of support that individuals and families need to achieve independence.
