U.S. Senate confirmations for leaders of the nation’s most important departments and agencies are going on now. The qualifications of many are in question. Today’s environment of bullying and threats make it especially hard for our representatives in Congress to do what is best for the country. They can better make a stand if they know their constituents are behind them.
Getting a message to U.S. Sens. Susan Collins and Angus King is easy and immediate. Both offices indicated that an email message sent through their website or a phone message to any of their offices is a quick and easy way to get your opinion to them. It would take five minutes max. Whether you lean Democrat or Republican, please weigh in on our country’s leadership. They will represent who we are.
