The Bangor Water District is planning to temporarily cut off service to an area near Hayford Park at 3 p.m. Thursday to repair a water main break.
The break occurred on 13th Street. The shutdown will affect that block, from 8-190 13th St., along with Rutland Street and 575 Hammond St., the Water District said in a Facebook post.
The timing of the shutdown is to allow Fairmount School on 13th Street to finish classes for the day, and for people to receive services at Amicus on Rutland Street, the Water District said.
