A stretch of Route 15 in Orrington was closed on Friday evening after what police called a “serious motor vehicle crash.”
“Route 15 from the Hatfield Road to Center Drive will be blocked off for sometime,” the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post at about 6:30 p.m.
The sheriff’s office suggested drivers use the Snows Corner Road, Johnson Mill Road and Center Drive to get around the crash scene.
No additional details were immediately available and the sheriff’s office said none would be released at this time.
