Stephanie Beck has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing and community development. Previously serving as vice president of marketing and community development, Beck has been a pivotal member of the UCU team since 2016, when she joined as marketing manager. Abbey Ramsay has advanced to vice president of lending. In her new role, Ramsay will bring her commitment and leadership to the senior management team and to all of UCU’s areas; consumer, real estate and business. A recent graduate of CUNA Management School, she embodies UCU’s dedication to member-focused lending solutions. She holds an associate’s degree in communications from New England School of Communications.

Jess Francis has been promoted to HR & executive administrative manager. Francis joined UCU in 2022 as executive administrator, bringing more than 18 years of experience in various credit union roles, including member services, administration, marketing, and management. She actively supports the community and was recognized as Champion the Cure Volunteer of the Year in 2023. In her expanded role, Francis will continue to support the leadership team and focus on human resources including benefits and staffing for the credit union. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Maine.

“As a seven-time Best Places to Work in Maine honoree, UCU is recognized for investing in our employees’ professional development, celebrating their achievements, and cultivating a supportive, engaging workplace,” said UCU President and CEO Renee Ouellette. “Steph, Abbey, and Jess have demonstrated exceptional commitment and performance, shaping the high-quality member experience that is core to UCU.
