Other leading meme coins are closely following, with SHIB and PEPE recording 8.3% and 7.9% gains as the broader meme coin space’s market cap soars beyond $100 billion for the first time since December 19th.
As recent developments, such as Trump’s upcoming inauguration and the establishment of Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), give Dogecoin a bullish outlook, it could surpass its ATH of $0.7376 in early 2025.

Surpassing its previous ATH of $0.7376 would require a growth of more than 2x for Dogecoin. Although an ambitious target, it isn’t impossible, as Dogecoin’s technical indicators show strong short and long-term potential.
The token’s long/short ratio currently stands at 2.93 over the past 24 hours, indicating that more than 74% of holders believe in its short-term success, while just 26% short the coin.
Since the second half of December, DOGE found strong support at the $0.32 level, which is well above its 200-day Simple Moving Average of $0.18, indicating a strong upward potential in the long term.

Pattern analyst Trader Tardigrade believes DOGE is set to rise to $0.37 over the next few days, while Dogegod expects the token to maintain momentum until it reaches a new ATH in early 2025.
Reaching $0.8 would require DOGE to grow its market cap above $117 billion, which would position it as the 5th largest cryptocurrency in the current market, above BNB and SOL.
