Pete Davidson is back and better than ever.
The 31-year-old comedian rocked an all-black outfit paired with red leather jacket while attending the All In: Comedy About Love by Simon Rich Gala Performance at Hudson Theatre on Monday, December 16. Davidson stepped out to support his longtime friend John Mulaney, who is starring in the Broadway comedy show. The duo even posed together for a series of photos.
Davidson’s rare outing on Monday marked his first red carpet appearance in over a year, his last being Transformers: Rise of the Beasts in June 2023.
The comedian has been in and out of the public eye since his career started more than a decade ago, speaking candidly about his mental health struggles.

Davidson recently discussed his decision to live a low-key life in a new profile for W Magazine, published on Thursday, December 12.
“I don’t know if you’ve noticed it, but I’ve been laying low,” he joked during the interview, which promoted his latest venture as the creative director of sock brand Doublesoul.
Davidson further opened up about how his mindset has changed since starting off his career.
“When I was 19, it was all about the ’fit — that was all that mattered. Now it’s health, family, humility, being a good person, not being a drug addict. Stuff like that,” he explained. “Luckily, I got hit on the face with the Hollywood shovel. It was a long time coming, and I needed it. I’m very happy where I am right now, mentally.”
Aside from his tenure on Saturday Night Live — Davidson was a cast member from 2014 to 2022 — the actor has become known for his high-profile love life, but he hopes that will change going forward.

“I just want to be known for doing good work. I want to be out there only when it’s [for a] movie, stand-up, charity, or business ventures,” he said. “That’s when I want to be seen. I don’t want to be this f—ing loser who just dates people. That’s not who I am.”
Being such a public figure was “a blessing” for Davidson, in a way.
“It allowed me to take a step back and evaluate things,” he added. “What do you want to be? Who are you? I’m someone who is from Staten Island, wanted to do stand-up, and if I got to do anything else because of stand-up, it was a miracle.”
