Is there anything Jennifer Lopez can’t do? She can sing, act, dance, cook — and she does it all in six-inch heels.
After spending the evening at what we can assume was a formal affair, Lopez retreated to her Los Angeles home on Sunday, December 8, for some late-night comfort food, as seen in a snap posted via her Instagram.
She quite literally sizzled in a sequined black dress and Femme LA stilettos as she made pasta with red sauce. “My favorite thing about going out is coming home for the midnight snack,” she wrote in the caption along with the pasta emoji.
Lopez did indeed look like a literal snack dripping in diamonds, which included oversized stud earrings and a near-blinding ring on her right hand. She was camera-ready with a full beat that included a smokey eye and contoured cheekbones, while her hair was styled in big-barrel curls.

In another Instagram video that she posted two hours prior, the “Waiting for Tonight” singer could be seen strutting down a hallway in said gown, which featured a sultry crisscross cutout neckline. She then turned the corner, revealing the dress was entirely backless before ending the clip with a coy hair flip and flash of her megawatt smile, all to the sound of Brandon O’Neal’s “Believe in Yourself” audio.
The video received more than 150,000 likes in just 30 minutes and prompted a slew of comments from fans who praised her for serving up her signature glamour from the kitchen.
“EATING us all UP on this Sunday 
,” one fan wrote, while another added, “Show them how it’s done. What a SERVE! .”
Just 72 hours earlier, Lopez took home the “Maverick” award for Unstoppable at the 2024 IndieWire Awards. Held on Thursday, December 5, in Los Angeles, the triple-threat wore a similar spangly silver dress with towering Dolce & Gabbana gold metallic platforms, naturally.
As Lopez revealed to Harper’s Bazaar this past May, she prefers spending less time on red carpets and more time in the kitchen: “I love to cook. My kids love to bake. I love hosting at home [for] family and friends… I like to have people over. I don’t like to go out a bunch.”

“We cook the same food every year, which I love because I wait for that food all year,” she told the publication. “Pasteles and arroz con gandules and pernil and all the, like, specialities.”
And judging by her latest Instagram, she isn’t waiting until then to spice things up in the kitchen.
