Princess Kate Middleton’s annual “Together at Christmas” carol service will return this holiday season.

“Something exciting is coming… 🎄🎵,” a Wednesday, November 13, Instagram post on Kate, 42, and husband Prince William’s official page read. “The invitations are fresh off the press for this year’s ‘Together At Christmas Carol Service,’ which will be returning to Westminster Abbey on Friday 6 December.”

The note added, “We can’t wait for you to join us too! Tune in on @itv and @itvxofficial on Christmas Eve.”

Alongside the caption, Kate and William, also 42, uploaded a video of the event’s official invitations being printed. The stationery was embossed with the Princess of Wales’ official monogram: the letter “C” underneath a tiara symbol.

Kate Middleton Is Planning the Royal Family’s Annual Christmas Concert

Kate has hosted the “Together at Christmas” concert for several years. The program is intended to bring British locals together during the holidays and recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond to help those in need.

This Christmastime will follow a difficult series of events for Kate, who was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer earlier this year. She underwent a round of chemotherapy, which concluded in September.

“As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” Kate said in a statement at the time. “The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”

She added, “With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything. This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved.”

Kate and William share children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

As Kate battled cancer, she took a step back from her public-facing duties. The princess only slowly resumed her official appearances after she completed her chemotherapy treatment. Most recently, Kate joined William and his father, King Charles III, at the U.K.’s Remembrance events this past weekend.

Kate and William attended the Festival of Remembrance on Saturday, November 9, and the church service at The Cenotaph on Sunday, November 10.
