A free, traditional Thanksgiving celebration for all, with generous support from community sponsors
WATERVILLE – The Alfond Youth & Community Center is delighted to invite the community to its Annual Community Holiday Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 4:45 to 7 p.m. AYCC is located at 126 North Street and the dinner is free for all attendees.
This beloved tradition offers a free, sit-down holiday meal with all the classic turkey dinner fixings, bringing neighbors and friends together in celebration. In order to serve everyone who attends in person, meals are not available for takeout.
This year’s event has been made possible through the generosity of Central Maine Motors Auto Group, as well as valued support from Huhtamaki and Waterville Sunrise Rotary. CMMAG has been instrumental year after year, providing 80 turkeys to serve our community. Huhtamaki provides paper products, and all three community partners provide volunteers to assist with food prep, serving, and kitchen assistance.
“We are incredibly grateful to Central Maine Motors Auto Group, Huhtamaki, and Waterville Sunrise Rotary for their partnership in bringing this amazing event to our community,” said Kate Roy, senior director of Healthy Living at the AYCC. “Their support enables us to continue creating moments of connection and gratitude for all.”
AYCC extends heartfelt thanks to all volunteers, donors, and sponsors for their commitment to making this dinner a memorable occasion for everyone. The evening promises a festive atmosphere filled with food, friendship, and thankfulness.

The Alfond Youth & Community Center is the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that operates the nation’s only merged Boys and Girls Clubs and YMCA. Located in Central Maine, the dedicated staff of the 85,000-square-foot facility serves over 9,000 members from throughout the 50 communities of the Greater Waterville area.
