Why RHOSLC’s Whitney Rose Blocked Lisa’s Phone Number

It doesn’t seem like The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Whitney Rose and Lisa Barlow will be gossiping on the phone anytime soon.

Whitney, 38, claimed on the Wednesday, November 6, episode of Watch What Happens With Andy Cohen that she blocked Lisa, 49, after receiving “horrific” text messages from her costar.

“Well, I had to block her phone number because she would send me the most horrific text messages. So I just blocked her,” Whitney responded when host Andy Cohen asked if she’d spoken to Lisa since the Wednesday, October 30, episode of RHOSLC season 5, during which Whitney’s husband, Justin, poured several bottles of Lisa’s Vida Tequila into their kitchen sink.

Whitney added, “I’ll see her at [the] reunion.”

Also on WWHL, Whitney reacted to the Vida Tequila founder once again calling her a liar on the latest episode of RHOSLC, which aired on Wednesday. This season, the former friends have been feuding after Whitney accused Lisa of sharing damaging information about her jewelry brand, Prism, with an Instagram gossip account. (One of the key story lines this season is that Whitney allegedly lifted jewelry designs from Alibaba, which she has denied.)

“I don’t know why she keeps with this narrative,” Whitney said on Wednesday’s WWHL. “I actually feel bad for her because she can’t prove anything that I’m lying about. At this point, it’s like, ‘Girl, it says more about you than it says about me.’”

On the WWHL After Show via YouTube, Whitney said she hopes to clear the air with Lisa at the upcoming RHOSLC season 5 reunion.

“I’m hopeful for the reunion that we can have some real talk and get to the bottom of things because there’s nothing worse than feuding with your friends,” the Wild Rose Beauty founder said. But Lisa’s dug herself in a grave of lies that are just…”

For her part, Lisa told Us Weekly exclusively in October that she is “done” with Whitney after being accused of instigating the Alibaba rumors this season. Lisa claimed Whitney has repeatedly lied about her.

“I mean, she’s been doing this since season 1 when she made up lies about me with the bartenders,” Lisa told Us. “Then [in] season 2, she came up with more things. Season 3, she accused me of sleeping with a business partner that’s also my husband’s business partner. And the list goes on and on and on, and I’m done. I’m so done.”

As far as Lisa is concerned, there is no way forward for her and her costar.

“No. I always have a path forward. I always forgive. I give grace. But I told her this time, ‘You’re lying about me and you’re going to have to say I’m sorry, and this time I’m not going to forgive you,’” Lisa told Us. “It’s been one too many times. Whitney needs to stop lying about everybody.”
