Today is Election Day, and Mainers will be voting for a new president, selecting members of Congress, deciding the balance of the State House, making decisions in local races and potentially choosing a new state flag, among the other statewide referendums.
Polls are generally open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Many open earlier, while smaller towns open them as late as 10 a.m.
