Voters who oppose the Gaza war should rank Diana Merenda first as candidate for Maine’s 2nd Congressional District. Merenda is running a grassroots campaign as a “declared write in” who opposes the U.S. arming Israel to commit what she recognizes as genocide.
Merenda voters will have to write her name into a blank place on the ballot, not just mark a box. She has no money, organization or web site. Ranking Merenda first will not affect the prospects of your second choice, but a vote for her will be tallied. If you oppose the spreading Middle East wars, please rank Merenda as the number one candidate of conscience.
