The 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards was like a who’s who in the world of style.
When the red carpet was rolled out at the American Museum of Natural History on Monday, October 28, in New York City, the best-dressed stars from coast to coast were out in full force.
Kylie Jenner turned heads in an avant-garde Jean Paul Gaultier Couture by Haider Ackermann black dress festooned with fringe. Blake Lively also hit a monochromatic note, but in an all-white Michael Kors look that featured a white bodysuit, wrap skirt and sleek blazer topped with a dazzling diamond necklace. The best eye candy was, no doubt, the designer himself, Michael Kors, on Lively’s arm.
Ciara also arrived with the creative genius behind her ensemble – none other than Vera Wang. They graced the red carpet together in coordinating black-and-white looks, with the singer in a black maxi skirt and a white tank tucked in — topped with a glamorous pair of white opera-length gloves and statement-making black sunglasses. Wang mirrored Ciara’s sartorial palette in a languid white slip with cutouts that revealed a tiny black bralette underneath.
Katie Holmes, on the other hand, opted for a color-blocked number dreamt up by Carolina Herrera’s Wes Gordon, who was by her side at the awards ceremony. Holmes’ dress was Barbie pink on top, lipstick red on the bottom and stunned from every angle.
