The community unites to make a splash with a new state of the art splash pad project.
SACO – Saco & Biddeford Savings is proud to announce a donation of $10,000 to the Biddeford-Saco Rotary Club in support of their efforts to construct a splash pad for the community.
The Splash Pad Project is a community effort led by the Biddeford-Saco Rotary Club in collaboration with the Saco Parks and Recreation Department. The project, slated for the Saco Community Center on Franklin Street, is aimed at creating a new, safe, and fun water play area to enhance outdoor activities and provide a free space where children can cool off during warmer months. This contribution and project underlines SBSI’s commitment to fostering family-friendly spaces and supporting local developments that offer recreational opportunities for children and families in the area.

This donation will help fund the construction of the dumping bucket for the splash pad, which promises to be an attraction that encourages physical activity, enjoyment, and relief from the summer heat. To be located at the Saco Community Center on Franklin Street in Saco, the splash pad will be accessible to residents and visitors, providing a gathering spot to foster social connections and create lasting memories.
