BANGOR — Northern Light Health is pleased to announce the addition of Steven Kozusko, MD, to the Northern Light Plastic and Hand Surgery team. Dr. Kozusko brings a wealth of expertise in plastic and reconstructive surgery, with specialized training in hand and upper extremity surgery.
Dr. Kozusko completed his medical education at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, followed by an internship in General Surgery at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. He further honed his skills during his residency in plastic surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey and completed a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
Currently board-eligible, Dr. Kozusko is set to take his oral boards in November 2025. His clinical interests include breast cancer reconstruction, hand and wrist fractures, nerve injuries, and microsurgery. He also has a passion for treating pediatric congenital hand conditions.
