Rob ‘The Rabbit’ Pitts posted a final message to fans saying “don’t be sad for me” just hours before he died of stomach cancer aged 45.

The reality TV star and CEO of Pitts Truck Service was diagnosed back in March while filming season two of the Netflix show.

His videographer confirmed his death at 9.45pm on 25 August in the comments section of a final YouTube video posted by Pitts and titled This is Goodbye.

He started the emotional video saying: “You haven’t heard much from me lately…and I know some of you are wondering about what I’ve been up to.”

Pitts described how he started feeling “off” after the SEMA car show in Las Vegas last year.

He lost weight but as he wanted to be “camera ready” for season 2 of TexMex Motors, he “didn’t mind that so much”.

Pitts was taken into emergency care on different occasions but always failed to be diagnosed with the “root of the problem”.

It wasn’t until his “set mum” took him into A&E that he was found to have stomach cancer.

He started receiving treatment at home “and it’s been rough”, Pitts said, as he was having “more bad days than good”.

But he sought to comfort his fans as he said: “I have a lot to live for and life has been going my way. Don’t be sad for me.

“I accomplished my dream of buying my own store, finishing season 2 of Netflix and marrying the love of my life.

“Luckily she doesn’t mind doing long-term things with a short-term guy.”

Pitts also issued some life advice.

“If your body is telling you something is wrong, don’t stop until you figure it out.”

He then signed off saying: “Until next time. Rabbit.”
