This revelation was swiftly echoed by his older brother, Donald Trump Jr., who amplified the excitement with his post: “Big things coming. This is the future!!!” At press time, it was not clear what the announcement could be about.

These teasers come on the heels of Donald Trump’s participation at the Bitcoin 2024 conference where he pledged to establish a “strategic national Bitcoin stockpile” with the coins confiscated by the US government.

But, it seems that there was something true about this. Donald Trump and Elon Musk will do a “major interview” on Monday night, as announced via X.

Amidst this backdrop of high expectations and major announcements, the Trump memecoin DJT, which was launched in June on the Solana blockchain amid speculative ties to Barron Trump, saw a catastrophic price drop yesterday. The massive sell-off is attributed by some to a “rug pull” by developers associated with the project.
Remarkably, this sudden crash occurred just weeks after controversies over the coin’s alleged connections to the former president, which were vigorously denied by his representatives. TylerD, a popular crypto analyst on X, drew connections between these developments.
