The marketing lead of Shiba Inu, Lucie (@LucieSHIB), announced today, July 18, the upcoming full integration of the Shiba Eternity game with the Shibarium blockchain. Shared via a post on X, Lucie stated, “THIS IS BIG FOR Shibarium & BONE & SHIB. To play this game, you will need to own a Shiboshi, and later, Sheboshis will be utilized. Shiba Eternity will fully integrate with the Shibarium blockchain, changing digital gaming and ownership.”

First Game To Fully Run On Shiba Inu’s Shibarium

Shiba Eternity, which launched in October 2022, is set to transition entirely onto the Shibarium platform, utilizing it to manage all in-game transactions with BONE, and for each transaction, SHIB tokens will be burned. This integration aims to create a more engaging and economically robust gaming experience. “The game will utilize BONE for transactions on the blockchain, and with each transaction, it will burn SHIB, adding value to the ecosystem,” Lucie revealed.

She further explained the rationale behind the integration: “Shiba Eternity will fully integrate with the Shibarium blockchain, changing digital gaming and ownership. Shiba Eternity will use Shibarium to improve gaming. This game will be a big step forward.”

Angel, the gaming lead at Shiba Inu Games, shared further technical insights into the game’s integration with Shibarium, expressing enthusiasm about the new possibilities: “Shiba Eternity will be our first game to fully run on Shibarium. This game will be a big step forward.”

With this integration, all game cards will become NFTs on the Shibarium network, ensuring each card’s uniqueness and tradability. These NFTs will be stored in smart wallets and can be traded on the Shib Marketplace, adding layers of security and user engagement.

Lucie also highlighted new features designed to enhance player experience: “The game will have a new, improved interface, a better reward system, and a new tournament format, making it more fun to play.”

Exclusive access to these enhancements will be granted through a closed beta version of the Web3 game, available only to Shiba inu community members who have staked LEASH or hold specific NFTs. Lucie noted, “Loyal players moving from the Web2 version will get a special Welcome Gift Pack, showing Shiba Inu’s appreciation for its community.”

In a conversation with The Shib Daily, Angel previously expressed the team’s dedication to this project: “The entire team has been working tirelessly in bringing Shiba Eternity onto Shibarium while staying true to its core principle of competitive yet enjoyable gameplay. I hope the community is as excited as we are for our beta release.”

Lucie’s closing remarks underscored the broader strategic importance of this update for the Shiba Inu token ecosystem, mentioning, “In the future, every token will benefit from SHIB tokens, enhancing the overall ecosystem.”

At press time, SHIB traded at $0.00001731.
