Stephen King weighed in on whether or not President Joe Biden should withdraw from the presidential campaign this year due to his age.

The author posted on X, the site formerly known as Twitter, that he believes Biden should resign from the race.

King regularly comments on politics and other topics on his X account, and is well-known for his pointed criticism of Trump and his various political and judicial appointees. He’s also taken political figures including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Maine’s own U.S. Sen. Susan Collins — his former neighbor on West Broadway in Bangor — to task on both X and on television.
