A fire at an Eddington restaurant last week is being considered suspicious, officials said.
The Heritage On 9 Restaurant & Tavern caught fire around 2 a.m. on July 3 and investigators with the Office of Maine State Fire Marshal spent the day at the scene, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said.
The fire at the commercial building is under investigation, Moss said.
Heritage on 9 Restaurant & Tavern had been closed since 2023.
No one was in the building at the time of the fire, the Eddington Fire Department said previously.
