A motorcyclist was seriously injured Monday afternoon when he crashed in Casco.
Nicholas Murdock, 35, was speeding east on Meadow Road about 4:30 p.m. when he lost control at a corner, left the road and then hit a mailbox and guardrail, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
Murdock, who was wearing a helmet, suffered life-threatening injuries. He was airlifted to Maine Medical Center in Portland.
