The 2024 November election will be here in less than six months and there is time now to consider the merits of candidates for local, state and national offices. I have definitely decided that once again I will cast my vote to re-elect state Sen. Chip Curry to represent us in Senate District 11 covering all of Waldo County.
Several years ago I served with Curry on the city of Belfast’s Parks and Recreation Commission. At that time, I learned quickly of his concern for his Waldo County neighbors. In our meetings, he was prepared, attentive, engaged and effective. These same characteristics have continued in his service in the legislature.
Curry has lived in three different Waldo County communities over the past 25 years and he knows the area, its people and its issues well. He has consistently proven his concern and commitment for citizens of all ages, abilities and economic levels. He recognizes the needs of rural residents in such areas as housing, healthcare, education and the environment. His leadership and voting record reflect his commitment.
Please join me in re-electing Sen. Curry to the Maine Legislature in 2024!
