What: One year anniversary for Meow Lounge
When: Saturday June 29 & Sunday June 30 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Meow Lounge is celebrating our one year anniversary and invites the public to join in on the fun! The Lounge is set up to offer a space where people can spend time with adoptable cats. Since opening last July, we now partner with nine Maine rescues/shelters — we offer the space for free to them, and all the adoptions go directly through the rescues, the Lounge is strictly just a foster home. As of today, we have found homes for 249 cats.
Meow Lounge is also set up as a community space. We have a variety of monthly events, such as: yoga, tarot, pottery, movie night, trivia, and open mic night. We have a small gift shop with close to 30 local artisans offering their cat-related items for sale.
During our anniversary weekend we will have Henna, face painting, tarot readings, arts and crafts, music from some of our open mic performers and there will be free snacks/drinks.
