A Waterville man was killed Monday morning in a collision in Winslow.
Dominic Reid, 21, was driving south on Route 201, also known as Augusta Road, about 5:30 a.m. when he collided with an SUV driven by 34-year-old Nicholas Blanchard of Augusta, according to the Waterville Morning Sentinel.
The crash happened near the intersection with Taylor Road.
Reid died at the scene, the Sentinel reported.
Reid’s passenger, 21-year-old Jasmine French of Waterville, was taken to Thayer Center for Health in Waterville, where she was treated for minor injuries, according to the newspaper. Blanchard was cleared at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information was immediately available.
