The family of sword attack victim Daniel Anjorin have said they are going to move to a new home as a “lasting tribute” to their son.
The 14-year-old boy was attacked in Hainault, northeast London, and suffered fatal wounds to his neck and chest on 30 April.
A GoFundMe page was set up to raise money for the Anjorin family in the wake of Daniel’s death which, so far, has raised more than £150,000.
In an update posted on the donation page on Tuesday, the Anjorin family thanked the public for their support, saying it has been a “source of comfort and strength”.
They said the “generous donations” would be put towards establishing a new family home as a result of the trauma of Daniel’s death – which had particularly affected the schoolboy’s siblings.

“This home will not only provide a place of solace and gathering for our family but will also stand as a lasting tribute to Daniel’s legacy,” the statement by Mr and Mrs Anjorin read.
On 5 May, a candlelit vigil was held in the car park of Hainault Underground Station, minutes from where Daniel was attacked.
Harris, a 17-year-old who knew Daniel, described him as a “kid that was not in any type of trouble”.
A teddy bear in an Arsenal kit was also left in memory of the 14-year-old, who was a fan of the north London club.
“His family are appreciating all your support. They’ve noticed everything you guys are doing community-wise, fundraiser-wise… Arsenal as well. They’ve noticed it all,” Harris said.
“On their behalf, I thank all of you.”

Marcus Aurelio Arduini Monzo, 36, a Spanish-Brazilian national from Newham, east London, has been charged with Daniel’s murder, along with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary, and possession of a bladed article.
Four others were injured in the attack at the end of April, including two Metropolitan Police officers.
Monzo appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court earlier this month and was remanded in custody.
