Mainers will have another chance to raise a glass to their beloved Moxie at its namesake festival this summer when it returns for the first time since 2019.

The Moxie Festival will take place in Lisbon from July 8-10, according to the event’s website. The return of the Moxie Festival marks — in a small way — a return normalcy more than two years into a pandemic that has claimed the lives of more than 1,800 Mainers.

Those events include fireworks to kick off the schedule, a 5K road race and a car show. And in case Mainers want to enjoy all things Moxie before the festival, organizers announced new activities — including food trucks and live music — that will begin on Memorial Day. Moxie Cruise nights will be introduced to Mainers beginning at 5:30 p.m. every Monday.

You can learn more about events leading up to the Moxie Festival and updates on its website, moxiefestival.com.
